Delivery of your nuc or beehive to your door.  $30-$80  depending on the distance.

Installation of the nuc to the hive. $40

Brief 30-minute mentoring that takes place during the installation. $60

What is inside a nuc? Our NUCs consist of a total of 5 frames with 2 frames of brood capped and eggs 1 frame of food stores (honey and pollen) and 2 drawn/foundation frames. A "NUC" is a common name in beekeeping which is short for the word NUCLEUS. The nuc is an established honeybee colony that has taken about 6-8 weeks of work and is now ready for growth. When your nuc is ready, It will be necessary to transfer the nuc hive into a real hive in the coming days. If you are not able to pick it up, we can deliver it for you at a reasonable fee. Each nuc will come in a long-lasting corrugated box (that can be used for years to come for splits or to catch swarms) your nuc will have a new laying Queen and the majority of the bees will be from her offspring. A brief mentoring session is also available which is provided by the beekeeper who delivers your nuc.
